FILM DESCRIPTION:
Filmmaking siblings Joel Coen and Ethan Coen both embraced and poked satirical fun at their Minnesotan roots with this comedy-drama-thriller that earned seven Oscar nominations, winning for Best Actress and Best Original Screenplay. Frances McDormand stars as Marge Gunderson, a pregnant police chief whose affable, folksy demeanor masks a whip-smart mind. When a pair of motorists are found slain not far from the corpse of a state trooper, Marge begins piecing together a case involving a pair of dopey would-be kidnappers, Carl (Steve Buscemi) and Gaear (Bergman stock player Peter Stormare). They've been hired by Jerry Lundegaard (William H. Macy), a car salesman under the thumb of his wealthy, overbearing boss and father-in-law, Wade (Harve Presnell). Jerry's raised some money illegally through a petty scam he's run on General Motors and he's about to get caught. When Wade sours a business deal that could save his son-in-law's hide, the desperate Jerry hires Carl and Gaear to kidnap his wife and hold her for ransom. Things go predictably wrong and a series of murders occur, with Marge, waddling along behind her enormous belly and ever-hungering for an all-you-can-eat buffet, hot on the trail of the killers. Although the credits for Fargo state that the film is loosely based on real events, the story is entirely fictional, the claim being just an ironic jibe on the part of the Coens.

https://youtu.be/cuMJ6c5r7UQ - Wood chipper & Log splitter - BUILD Some of you may remember that I've done similar machines before. The first one was not successful, and the second one I sold some time ago. I decided to build a third version because such a device is always useful at a country house. I also have a lot of things that are needed to do wood chipper, so the whole project should not be expensive.   The housing is made of a steel flat bar 12 mm thick, making it very strong and stiff. Large UCF208 bearings should also handle overloads without any problems. The blades are sharpened at an angle of about 60 degrees. The material they are made of is so hard that I could only cut it with an angle grinder. You can forget about drilling in this. All screws are hardness grade 8.8. For extra safety I put a spring washer under each screw. The mechanism will most likely be driven by 3kW / 4Hp electric motor and transmission, which will reduce the rotation of the mechanism to 200 rpm. The weight of the mechanism is about 34 kg / 75lbs ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- THE PLANS for this mechanism (and all others) are available to all patrons who support our channel for $3 or more. https://www.patreon.com/madeinpolandd ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some tools I use in my constructions: Self made: Belt grinder 2x48 - https://youtu.be/2rB59KaMjaQ Vise - https://youtu.be/7BANZRdqFvU Drill press STAND with COOLANT SYSTEM - https://youtu.be/o68uiTp_gWk KEYWAY on the LATHE - https://youtu.be/CIU5tcuduCM and Welder IDEAL Tecnomig 200GD LATHE Cormak 330x770 Band saw Stiler BS 712R Drill press ZX7016 Chop saw Evolution RAGE 3 Mag drill Evolution Evo Mag 28 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Videos that you may like: https://youtu.be/Mjlwc4x3GKE - Electric Aluminum Foundry DIY https://youtu.be/V0ahzDSYDxo - MOTORIZED Plasma Cutting Track https://youtu.be/LTC1qJrGXnM - Simple Power File DIY https://youtu.be/f-Ebryi5m0g - Chain Saw HACK 7 - Drill Attachment ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Social media: FB: Made in Poland Insta: made_inpoland ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Music by YouTube library : Move out New tires Sailing Memory Rain Sour apples Free fall ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rain Man 16 December 1988 Director: Barry Levinson Cast: Dustin Hoffman Tom Cruise Valeria Golino Music: Hans Zimmer - Vegas/End Credits

Fargo is one of the Coen Brothers' best films, which is high praise considering their superb filmography. It's a wonderfully quaint but brutal crime thriller, all blanketed in pure white snow. The opening titles set the scene perfectly, with the characters emerging from the whiteness, and the music signalling the drama to come. Carter Burwell is their regular composer, and this is one of his most famous themes. The film's overall feel has been wonderfully translated to the TV series in the past couple of years, along with the music. Written and directed by Ethan and Joel Coen, with cinematography by Roger Deakins and music by Carter Burwell. Starring Steve Buscemi, Frances McDormand, Williams H. Macy and Peter Stormare.

Characters in the film "Fargo" feel that "funny-looking" adequately sums up the appearance of Carl Showalter (Steve Buscemi).

Most people remember the more outrageous scenes in 'Fargo' (i.e. the infamous woodchipper scene), but to me one of the most affecting moments in the film occurs near the end, with Marge's rather poignant speech in the police cruiser. She speaks the wisest words in the entire film.

Great scene by Steve Buscemi from the movie Fargo.

A recreation of the wood chipper scene from Joel and Ethan Coen's 'Fargo' for Film Riot's Movie Scene Challenge... but mostly for cheap thrills. A note about the production: We began shooting this on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 (two days before the deadline) in southern, rural Minnesota with the temperature (factoring in the breeze) at 1 degree Fahrenheit. My hands are still frozen. Believe it or not, it was the coldest day in the last month. The lesson is don't procrastinate!
